Assorted Geekery

http://www.plaxo.com
Once you create an account at this website it synchronizes all of the data from Gmail, Outlook, Outlook Express, Yahoo, OS X, and more. It combines all of your address-book contacts, calendars, tasks, and notes together and keeps them sync'd between all your different applications and websites. It also does a little social networking, letting you connect an address-book contact to that account on Plexo (like making someone your friend on MySpace) and then any updates that person does automatically come through to you.
Which means I don't have to hunt down every person's birthday and enter the same data in a bunch of websites and programs. Oh, and the website is still only a month old.
Brillant! (and about damn time if you ask me)
